Santa bus day 3: St Anne's School & Sixth Form College

Kim Harrison: St.Anne’s was my most favourite visit of them all. The staff were amazing at ensuring the students had a wonderful and comfortable day. It was amazing speaking to the students - so many of them full of confidence and they had so much energy and enthusiasm. It made our jobs and visit so delightful. You couldn’t have called it work. Thank you st.Anne’s you were brilliant.

Clare Crooks: We were blown away by the reception we received at St Annes. The staff were fantastic. Always on hand, calm and in control whilst having lots of fun with the students and our Santa Bus. And the students were an absolute delight, a real testament to the school. We had a blast chatting to them, playing games, and enjoying a sing along with Santa. There was smiles and laughter all round. The student’s personalities shone through, and they provided us with some memorable moments for the radio. I thought we were there to offer a little Christmas magic, but they gave it back to us in spades!

Martha Mangan: Visiting St Anne’s was the highlight of an incredibly busy Santa tour. The warm and inviting reception we received from staff and pupils was just what we needed on a very cold December day! It was obvious how much the visit meant to all involved…but on a personal note it was a pleasure to bring joy to some incredible young people.

The singing was top notch and I think the school got every reindeer right in the games with Santa. Interviewing a few pupils during the morning really hit home how much the bus, Santa and BBC Radio Humberside being at their school meant to the young people…. and I hope we can come and visit again soon.
